Reflections
2025
Reflection is the process through which reason allows the organism to theoretically interpret and practically manipulate sensory appearances.
This work tackles gender and interconnectedness.
Distorting, deformed, and troubled oceanic mirrors emerge from the wall. These pieces, in between the definitions of object, science, and animal, inscribe themselves in the Chthulucene.
Blue liquid passes through the mirrors, expanding behind the walls, implying a larger invisible web of liquid connections.
As we look into a dysmorphic troubled self, now (de)formed and anew, breaking an anthropocentric view, we perhaps become slightly more entangled with the invisible Chthonic chords.
