Siana is a multimedia artist whose work stems from the desire to investigate belief systems and their effects on identity, time, and ecology.

They started this research through a linguistic lens, considering how language (non)structures shape systems and hierarchies - whether religious, political, social, cultural, or environmental.

The mysterious deep oceans and their creatures offer a way to explore non-human dynamics and speculate on alternate modes of being and operating to reshape how we perceive the world and each other.
They inspire ephemeral stories that nest in open-ended worlds to explore Chthulucene bodies. Siana explores these depths through the fictional tales of the Vampyroteuthis Infernalis and other creatures to blur the boundaries between reality and fiction, inscribing these narratives in non-hierarchical in-betweens. These narratives invite audiences into fluid spaces of time and identity, blending together queer theories and ecological thought.
